Darwin and BioDiversity Conference Costa Rica
Lynn was invited to present and her genetic inspired art to the international science conference, December 2009.
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) Annual Symposium
The CSH Lab is famous for cutting edge research, the leadership of Nobel Laureate James Watson, and high-level science meetings. One of the most recent, "Evolution: the Molecular Landscape", was a history making event with top researchers presenting their current work. Lynn attended the meetings and displayed her work.
The Bell Museum of Natural History
The Bell Museum at the University of Minnesota, showed Lynn's art as part of the Darwin festivities. Displayed with the art, were tall banners designed by Lynn, that described the genetic concepts, mtDNA and Y chromosome data and Hap Groups in her art.
The Noble Conference at Gustavus Adolphus 2008
Fellman was invited to show her DNA Portraits at the conference. Titled "Who Were the First Humans?", the event featured world class scientists speaking about their research on human origins. Fellman's art about Haplogroup migrations relates to research by presenters Geneticist Marcus Feldman and Svante Pääb.
LifeScience Alley Conference 2008
Fellman was invited to show her DNA Portraits to the BioTech Industry.
Woman’s Club of Minneapolis 2008
Individual show of large format, DNA Portraits and silk hangings.
ASHG Conference in San Diego
Fellman was the first artist to exhibit at the American Society for Human Genetics (ASHG) conference. She showed her DNA Portraits and work on silk to the international gathering of geneticists.
